  1. Are you open at the end of October to early November? We are going to be driving through and need a place to stop and sleep. We will have a motor home with us that will need to have electricity.

    • Iam inquiring on your camp ground. Wanting to no how much it is monthly. And if you have any opening by the lake. We are looking for this to be a permanent living place. Looking for a campwr or rv right at this time. So would like all information you could provide me. Thanks

      • Hi Jeanetta,
Currently, our monthly rate is 455.00. Cable is additional 40.00. At this time, we do not have any monthly sites available. However, our availability can change rapidly. You can check back, as you get closer to completing your RV purchase. You can best contact us by email at . We can take your phone number and email and contact you when we have availability.
        Thank you
        Sandy and Dale

  2. We are looking for a work camp position, do you have anything available for spring? My husband and I have work camped in Arkansas recently. Thank you for your time.

    • Hi Tracy,
We are looking for a camp host for the 2014 season. My manager, Bill Ziegler, is screening applicants and can be reached at 816-351-4835. Thank you for contacting me. Chris Atlakson

    • Tracy are you still interested in being a part of the AOK team? Our park is the most improved park in Northwest Missouri and we’re looking for others that would like to participate in the ongoing growth process.

  3. We are very interested in a work camp position at your beautiful park. We are also interested in a place that is open year round. We would like more information and plan to call your manager after the New Year holiday. Thank you so much for your response. James and Tracy

  4. I may have left a question on the website – wonder whether you offer any discounts. Passport America, senior, AARP? I see nothing about discounts.

  5. Were a family of 6 and this park was perfect for our kids. The bath house is clean, laundry (a must ) with 3 washers and 2 dryers . We fished, hiked, kids played at the playground. And at night we all sat around our fire ring. They had wifi and cable . The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its a very clean kept park . We are enjoying our stay here !!

  6. This was a great campground. Quiet, easy access to highway, ponds are a peaceful respite, clean and affordable. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful. We would stay again in a heartbeat! We have a 26 foot trailer. 6/2014

  7. Lovely setting. Suggest stepping stones to bathrooms and laundry going up steep hill in tall grass. Remove mention about pool since not operational.

  8. Our stay last night and today was great! We arrived late, but that was not a problem. We were quickly greeted and escorted to our site. The area is beautiful and quiet and the hookups were well maintained. We travel I29 a few times a year and will definitely stay here again! Thank you for the hospitality!

  9. I just wanted to say thank you. You guys were so helpful on our fist time out with the camper. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you again, my family had a great time.

      • I will sleep behind the dumpster at your fine establishment if it means I can camp out for the eclipse. Do you think we can work out a deal?

      • Hi Isaac,
Unfortunately, we are completely booked. However, we will email you a possible alternative.
        Thank you for considering us,
        Sandy and Dale

  10. I think it would be wise to expand your venue to occomodate the obviously high number of eager customers. You could really make a profit off of this. Think of the DOLLAS AND CENTS!

    • Hi Isaac,
Sandy and I aren’t trying to get rich off of this event. We would rather not overbook and ruin our guest’s experience. Additionally, we do not want to damage our grounds and facilities. We still have to provide for our guests after this event. We don’t believe in taking advantage of our guests.
      Thank you,
      Sandy and Dale

  11. We have never been camping here and it is a very nice and pretty here, but now I can see why we were the only ones with a tent. I certainly would not recommend this place because all you can hear is the traffic off the interstate. We didn’t realize it was that close. Next time we will make sure before we pay that we check it out first. Very very hard to sleep.

    • Hi Amy,
We are sorry that you were disturbed by the Interstate. It is a double edged sword. While it offers convenience, to get here, it does have some noise. As for other tent campers, we had an additional three campers that were here during your stay. Additionally, we have many tent campers that come to enjoy our campground as repeat customers. While we will work, to continue improving our park, there are some things that we cannot control.

      • Yes you do have a nice area but for us its our fault we didn’t check out before we paid. We enjoy a more quiet area when we go camping not one that you can’t even sleep due to the interstate. Also we saw only one tent there at early morning. Its. More for RVs which there was alot of.

  12. Just spent a fantastic week at AOK. The management the best. The park is very well maintained, clean and friendly. The sightseeing was awesome. We will be back next year. Markos and Susan
